In this unit students will critically examine principles, practices and issues of health and wellbeing. They will explore how society and culture influence community practices, legal and quality assurance requirements relating to the health and wellbeing of children and adults in early childhood settings. The unit will prepare students with strategies to maintain high quality health, safety and nutritional standards in children's services and to balance work and life commitments through emotional, physical, social and spiritual self-care. -- Course Website
