This unit introduces systems engineering and reliability analysis. Key concepts and language are introduced through real world examples. Frameworks for analysing the life cycles of systems are introduced. Tools and techniques to aid decision-making are provided. Group projects and discussions reinforce the concepts through real-world examples. The concepts of component and system reliability are introduced and extended to reliability analysis of non-repairable and repairable systems, including time dependent reliability and availability, mean time to failure, mean repair time and lifetime distribution functions. -- Course Website
