This unit offers an extended engagement with the representational issues prefaced in the previous units. In a studio class, sequential projects, will explore the visual description of the human body in a variety of spatial, conceptual and contemporary contexts. This will promote the investigation and discovery of a range of appropriate representational strategies involving drawing and contemporary media. A practical study of the work of historical and contemporary exemplars of body imagery is an important part of the unit. -- Course Website
