The student is required to present a concert recital, the works of which are chosen in consultation and approval of a supervisor for their unity of intellectual purpose. The student organises the concert and, following clear academic writing principles, writes a critical essay that explains and justifies the programs intellectual purpose. This unit is taught through a combination of individual lessons on the students chief practical instrument, instrumental workshops and academic supervision. -- Course Website
