This unit provides the student with an opportunity to<br/>a. Undertake a practical work placement with an NGO, community organization or other agency working on local and/or international issues of about eighty hours resulting in a substantial research report or other piece of written work; or<br/>b. Undertake a case study analysis for an NGO or community organization on an issue or problem of importance and relevance to that organisation.<br/><br/>In both cases a supervisor will meet regularly with the student to ensure that a carefully structured reading and writing program is developed in a manner directly relevant to the research topic. -- Course Website
