This unit provides a detailed exploration of the research and reporting practices in sports reporting. It canvasses the major documentary and database sources, match reporting, contemporary issues and case studies, and key personalities and institutions in a range of major sports. It explores the usage of various technologies in contemporary reporting practices, and critically considers the professional and social implications and accountabilities of sports reporting.
