Upon completion of this unit, students should have developed further their reading, writing, oral and aural skills in Spanish. Particular emphasis is placed on reading and writing, and an informed knowledge of contemporary Spanish and Latin American societies and cultures. Students are expected to;. consolidate their knowledge of basic grammatical concepts and expand their Spanish vocabulary, and;. communicate effectively in Spanish on most topics relating to oneself, one's family, home, school, work and social environments. -- Course Website
