Students devise a research thesis on a topic of their choosing in consultation with the unit coordinator and a potential supervisor. Students develop skills of independent learning and critical thinking through carrying out their research under the supervision of a member of academic staff. The completion of an 18000 word thesis assesses the student's ability to complete a work of research that satisfies the highest standards of scholarly argument, research, documentation and referencing. -- Course Website
Prerequisites: Units in the Master of Australian Studies to the value of 48 points at 4th year level.
