In this unit students consider individual, group and social processes driving creativity and creative action. Themes include the role of cognition, imagination, judgment, criticism, personality, materials, forms, humor, social milieu, and cities in the creative process. The aim is for students to understand the multiple factors affecting creativityand how creative individuals, organizations and societies are possible. Examples will be drawn from a wide variety of creative arts including theatre, film and visual arts, architecture, music, writing and publishing. -- Course Website
