This unit simulates actual conference situations where students are able to familiarise themselves with all the procedures of different conference genres, and practice conference interpreting in both consecutive and simultaneous modes in front of live audiences. This unit not only gives students the opportunity to learn how to prepare for and execute conference interpretations, but also provides them with the opportunity to develop skills in relay interpreting in multiple languages during conference proceedings. -- Course Website
