This unit is focused on simultaneous interpreting practice and runs parallel to TRAN865. With an aim to combine theory with practice, it teaches students how to use acquired skills to apply various strategies in dealing with different constraints in the on-line information process. Students are required to simultaneously interpret both improvised and well-prepared speeches on wide-ranging topics in both English and LOTE, which are selected from various sources according to difficulty levels. -- Course Website
