This unit gives students insight into theory, research and practice in industrial, work and organisational psychology. The primary focus is on conceptual understanding rather than professional skills (consistent with APS requirements for fourth-year students), but some practical issues are covered. Students learn about some misunderstood and controversial issues in the field, and develop a more sophisticated understanding of the complexities of applied psychology theory and phenoma.
