This unit is designed to provide a forum for the discussion of the issues to do with psychological assessment. We will discuss theories of intelligence and their application to the administration and interpretation of the WAIS-IV and the WISC-IV, the two most commonly used IQ tests. Lectures will also be devoted to personality testing and testing in the domains of organisational assessment and neuropsychological assessment. All of these issues are discussed within a scientist-practitioner model. -- Course Website
