This unit comprises a practical placement. The aim of the placement is for students to carry out an intensive learning experience in a specialty within clinical psychology often linked to their doctoral research. At 500 hours, the placement allows the student to carry out advanced professional work and operate more independently than in prior placements. It provides the opportunity to build more advanced skills such as program development and evaluation, policy development, team management and therapy with more complex cases. -- Course Website
