This unit involves the conduct of research appropriate to the professional doctorate and requires the submission of a dissertation. The form of the thesis could be either a concise dissertation no more than 40,000 words; or in the form of three or more journal article style chapters of 5000 to 8000 words with introductory and concluding chapters; or in the form of a more traditional dissertation.
