This unit comprises an external practical placement. The type of external placement experience is determined largely by APAC, who require specific experiences over the three external placement units. The experiences can be completed in any order. Placements vary in the exact experiences available to students, but can include assessing clients; applying various therapeutic interventions; and developing the professional skills of a clinical psychologist. In this unit students are still supervised closely but develop increased independence. -- Course Website
