This is a full-year unit, offering accelerated learning via short courses in specialist topics, tutorials, seminars, and discussions in a variety of areas of modern physics including quantum information theory, astronomy and astrophysics, lasers and photonics, and biophysics. Students are expected to engage in a research-related activity in one of the research areas of the department and produce a report in scientific format on their findings. -- Course Website
