Philosophy and Cognitive Science Research Project Part A

Students will undertake an independent research project supervised by staff in Philosophy, the Macquarie Centre for Cognitive Science or Law as appropriate. Topics may be drawn from any area relevant to the program for which the candidate has appropriate qualifications. The student will normally write a 12000?15000 word minor thesis but may undertake an equivalent empirical research project where qualified and with appropriate supervision. To complete the research project students must also enrol in PHL832. An incomplete grade ('I') will be awarded for this unit with a final grade being awarded for both PHL831 and PHL832 when the research project has been submitted and examined. -- Course Website

Prerequisites: PHL800 and PHL801 and admission to MA in Philosophy Cognitive Science and the Self and 8cp in PHL units at 800 level(D)
