Cyberspace presents the law with many challenges. This unit introduces the basic legal issues raised by networked digital technologies such as the internet. Topics as diverse as jurisdiction; proprietary rights (copyright, trademarks, patents, domain names); privacy; e-commerce and its framework; and selected others are discussed.
