This unit provides an opportunity for Study Abroad and Exchange students to directly engage with the community through experience in a workplace, which may include companies, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations. The unit is comprised of workplace experience in an organisation for a total of 120 hours of part-time work over the semester period, and academic assessments. At the completion of the unit, students are expected to have developed skills in relation to the application of theory in the real world, work-readiness skills, cross-cultural understanding and a better appreciation of their discipline and future profession. -- Course Website
