This unit aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to be effective teaching assistants at undergraduate level, and to develop interpersonal and oral presentation skills that will be important in their professional careers. Through a series of weekly practical topics, students will develop their understanding of a range of issues that affect planning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate level, and learn a range of practical teaching strategies to address these issues.
