This unit explores developmental difference and disability in the context of the provision of early childhood education and care. The unit provides students with the opportunity to integrate their knowledge of principles of child development, developmental processes and early childhood pedagogy into a framework focusing on the education of diverse groups of young children. A primary emphasis is working with families of children who experience disability.
