This unit introduces students to common neurological and orthopaedic conditions. A variety of teaching methods are employed, including a constructivist approach, use of current evidence, and the discussion of case studies used to exemplify the diagnostic process. Students develop competency in neurological and orthopaedic examination and in developing a differential diagnosis based on the patient's signs and symptoms at clinical presentation. The knowledge and skills acquired during this unit are fundamental for diagnostic competence in chiropractic practice. -- Course Website
