This unit focuses on warfare in Classical Greece, the Hellenistic and Roman worlds and also in Late Antiquity. The unit covers the politics and strategy of warfare in these ancient cultures and how warfare changed over this period. The unit employs a range of sources including ancient texts, art and archaeology. -- Course Website
