This course is closely related to 7402ICT eService Planning and 7403ICT eService Management. 7401ICT eService Technology is an introduction to the architecture of eServices (or Web-based information systems) and to the standards, languages, frameworks and techniques required to specify, design and implement eServices. It provides both a comparison of alternative, modern technologies and a practical introduction to the use of a particular set of technologies.<br/><br/>PREREQUISITES:<br/>7001ICT Programming Principles or 1005ICT Programming 2 or an equivalent 2 - semester programming course in a modern high-level language such as Java. -- Course Website
