The course, Manipulation and Expression of Recombinant DNA, will provide the student with an overview of the common laboratory techniques used in molecular biology and protein expression. Upon completion of this course students should be able to describe contemporary methods used in recombinant DNA manipulation and protein expression, be able to interpret and critically review relevant literature and possess the necessary theoretical background to enable successful implementation of methods learnt in a laboratory setting.
