This is the first of two complementary courses in the Bachelor of Education- Secondary concerned with the curriculum foundations and implementation of Geography in secondary schooling. This course focuses on preparing beginning teachers to be effective in planning, implementing and assessing geography to the junior secondary years of schooling. These years relate to lower secondary years 7 to 10 (that is for students aged 11 to 15).<br/><br/>Restriction: Students must have successfully completed the first and second year General Professional Knowledge courses, Curriculum and Pedagogy courses, 1252EDN and six (6) Teaching Area Content courses in each teaching area. -- Course Website
