This is the second of two complementary courses concerned with preparing English teachers for the secondary school. The central purpose of this course is to develop further knowledge of theory and practice issues related to the teaching of Senior English, English Communication and English Extension (Literature). A working knowledge of the current Queensland English syllabus documents is integral to the work undertaken in this course.
