This course examines the diversity of plants in the landscape and gives students further experience in plant identification, beyond that covered in 1602ENV Botany and Zoology. It considers the major structural components of the flora of regional ecosystems and the factors which determine the distribution of plants. There are sections dealing with plant diversity, ecology, plan-animal interactions and biomes as biological indicators.
