The learning activities associated with this course are designed to provide students with the foundation academic skills and introductory theoretical knowledge required for the successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Science Program. Lectures will provide students with the theoretical material, as well as communicate other relevant information on learning activities to students. Practical sessions will introduce students to basic laboratory skills and techniques, an explanation of the Griffith University School of Medical Sciences Occupational Health & Safety Policy (OHS), as well as introduce students to the various disciplines of Clinical Pathology.
