This course focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Students explore both the structure and function of the normal human body. Emphasis is on the development of both knowledge and understanding of a broad range of core concepts such as anatomical organisation along with chemical and physical processes and homeostatic maintenance. The course will emphasise the relevance of such knowledge to the maintenance of health of the human body. The ways the body changes across the lifespan will also be explored.
