This course unifies and consolidates student understandings of the nature of the arts and arts education and especially music education. Students learn that the Arts KLA comprises art-form strands that have shared and discrete discipline bases. Whilst the major focus of this course is on artistic performance and music pedagogy for generalist and specialist pre-service teachers (as a foundation to the Music Specialisation) this is complemented with discussions in other art-forms . -- Course Website
