Spectroscopy, in its many and varied forms, is employed extremely widely in all areas of the physical, natural and life sciences. Consequently, this unit provides an introduction to the fundamental principles and applications of modern spectroscopy incorporating both the elucidation of molecular structure and the determination of chemical concentration.
