This unit introduces topics in the theory and applications of combinatorial and sequential logic circuits and systems. These will include standard SSI and MSI devices from flip-flops, counters and registers to memory devices. Electronic systems that can be built from these components such as state machines and arithmetic units will also be covered. The unit studies how all these digital devices can be described in a HDL so that digital circuits can be devised and simulated in the computer and then placed into a single, reprogrammable device.Assessment -- Course Website
