This unit covers the process of data analysis including the collection, presentation, and interpretation of data. A principal objective of the unit is to demonstrate the importance of understanding data and the crucial role of data analysis in business decision-making. While it is essentially a statistics-based unit (including survey methods and questionnaire design), mathematics and arithmetic calculations are kept to a minimum. The emphasis of the unit is on the interpretation and applications of the various techniques studied.
