This unit is designed for students undertaking studies in leadership. The purpose of the unit is to introduce students to social construction and how it is applied to leadership. Whilst students will have received a general introduction to leadership theories in Principles of Leadership, this unit is intended to provide the main underpinning theory for the Masters of Leadership; i.e., the social construction of leadership, aka constitutive leadership. The unit will be taught at a week-long residential school.
