The role of arts management within the arts and cultural sector is to create opportunities for arts and cultural organisations to be vital, viable and responsive to stakeholders. Using case studies and a discussion of current arts sector practices, students develop an understanding of the functions and principles of management, as it applies to the arts and cultural sector.
