This unit introduces students to the law relating to the preservation of competition in the economies and internationally by examining the restrictive trade practices provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and comparable legislation in the USA, Europe and certain other jurisdictions. The theoretical underpinnings of those provisions and international developments are also examined.
