The purpose of this community based internship, is to allow students an opportunity to gain a professional work placement with an approved host organisation for a 100-120 hour placement to facilitate learning. Students will learn in and with the community, with the intention of then critically reflecting on their placement, their graduate attributes and employability competencies through a continuous assessment process – a portfolio which includes an in-depth critical reflection. <br/><br/>The placement will tend to be project focused so as to further the interests of both the student and the host organisation.
