This unit covers data sampling, analysis and inference, including the process of collection, presentation, and interpretation of data. An objective of the unit is to demonstrate the importance of understanding data and the crucial role of data analysis in business decision-making. Topics include exploratory data analysis, probability, random sampling, inferential statistics and regression. The emphasis of the unit is on the interpretation and application of the various statistical techniques studied. Statistical software is used extensively throughout the unit. -- Course Website
