This unit provides a framework for examining the behaviour of firms and financial intermediaries, the pricing of financial instruments and the practice of financial risk management. It provides a unified approach to the modern theoretical and empirical research in financial markets and institutions. In addition there is coverage of the institutional detail including the composition of financial instruments and intermediaries, the nature of the intermediation process and the trends in the development of new instruments for financial risk management.Assessment -- Course Website
