This unit focuses on the application of assistive technology as a performance facilitator to enhance people's occupational and social lives. This unit builds on previous learning related to human performance and competencies developed within occupational science and person-centred assessments gained through fieldwork. The unit applies two specifically designed theoretical frameworks that apply person-centred principles to assistive technology prescription.
