This unit is a core unit for the Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion, the combined courses with Commerce and Nursing, and is also an elective unit for a range of courses offered at the University. Through this unit, students will be introduced to the theories, models and frameworks used in both public health and health promotion; explore the evolution of public health and health promotion; examine case studies highlighting responses to public health and health promotion issues; and explore the relationship between health, policy development, and the health care system. -- Course Website
