This unit provides students with the knowledge and skills to work effectively with patients with metabolic conditions in order to provide clinical services such as assessment of exercise capacity and prescription of exercise as an adjunct treatment of the associated diseases. Students will explore the pathophysiology underlying the disease, appropriate tests, interpret clinical data and referrals and prescribe safe and appropriate exercise for patients with various aspects of metabolic disease. -- Course Website
