The aims of this unit are for each student to build on HNN730 Advanced Diagnostic Reasoning in extending their knowledge and skills for their clinical domain of practice. Students will be challenged to integrate knowledge of the broader issues related to autonomous and collaborative decision making as a nurse. This is supported by students working closely with a professional practice mentor/clinical supervisor to articulate clinical decision making and engagement in collaborative relationships; and maintaining a professional portfolio encompassing critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
