In this unit, students are encouraged to enhance their practice development through investigation and interpretation of the midwifery literature related to evidence-based practices. It is also intended in this supervised program of learning that students identify both strengths and weaknesses within their own theoretical and practice frameworks using strategies of reflective practices for self-appraisal and evaluation. Each student is expected to incorporate analysis, synthesis and evaluation in their practice for the delivery of effective and appropriate midwifery care. -- Course Website
