This is the final midwifery specific unit that forms part of the Professional Studies in Nursing and Midwifery cluster and it builds on all previous units of study by providing students with the opportunities to explore issues influencing contemporary midwifery practice. Opportunities are provided for students to critically examine issues of women’s health care related to social, cultural, political and ethical frameworks.
