This unit will introduce students to the development and function of cells in the blood, bone marrow and immune tissues, and the role that these cells play in the body. Dysregulation of blood cell production will be explored, as well as the role of white blood cells in immunity. The study of immune response, including innate and acquired immunity will also be discussed. -- Course Website
