The Independent Reading Study/Project is a guided independent study in which students can undertake a negotiated literature review or project in consultation with a supervisor. The unit is designed to provide students with flexibility in constructing their Masters course, enabling them to focus on an area of education and/or training which they regard as directly related to their own interests. It may involve engaging in a reading study or independent project topic focusing on issues arising from students' course work and professional interests, or it may (if taken in the latter stages of your Masters course) relate closely to students' intended research paper topic.
