Students will examine the role of the teacher in the school and community and as a member of a profession. Students will select key teaching and learning and assessment artefacts and build their professional portfolio to share with school and university staff members. Students will further develop their ability to communicate in early childhood settings or classrooms and in staffrooms and in particular with students and their families and other key community organisations to ensure the learning of all students. Students will also explore how key professional associations may support them to become members of a learning community. -- Course Website
